11TH Summit Legal provides legal services through Eleventh Summit Pty Ltd (ABN 76 601 135 915), is a law firm located in the State of Victoria, Australia, providing legal services to clients in various areas of law. As a law firm regulated by the Legal Profession Uniform Law (Victoria), we are required to provide certain information about our professional indemnity insurance.

Professional Indemnity Insurance

11th Summit Legal is covered by the Professional Indemnity Insurance scheme managed by the Legal Practitioners’ Liability Committee (LPLC). The LPLC is a statutory body established under the Legal Profession Uniform Law (Victoria) to provide professional indemnity insurance to legal practitioners in Victoria.

Our policy provides cover for claims made against us arising from the provision of legal services, including errors, omissions, and negligence. The cover limit of our policy is AUD 2 million. The policy covers claims made against us during the policy period, being 12 months from 1 July to 30 June. Claims made outside of the policy period may not be covered, and we recommend that clients seek legal advice as soon as possible in the event of a claim.

The insurance policy wording complies with the minimum standards required under the Legal Profession Uniform General Rules 2015 and is approved by the Victorian Legal Services Board each year.
